Christmas party in a 300-year old mill in the forest
Dear sMILEies
Some of you might know that I am living in a 300-year old mill in the forest (see picture in the attachment). Corinne and me would like to invite you there before Christmas to celebrate the end of the first term. The party will take place on Friday, 15 December 2006 from around 7 o'clock onwards (there will be no exam on that friday but just normal classes until 4 o'clock). It would be nice if you all bring some special food and drinks from your home country.
Thomas Cottier will come as well and offered to bring some Swiss wine :-) Thank you very much for that!!
With best regards
elisa

Elisa, on behalf of my Comrades in Arms, I thank you very much. The place looks incredible... I am starting to imagine the infinite number of stories that mill must hide behind its corners. Hopefully after the party we will add a couple of our own, and thus become part of its history. I will try to find some peruvian pisco and prepare Pisco Sours for the magnificent event. BTW, congrats on your A+ masters thesis!

An old mill of 300-years of age! In the forest! In Christmas time! Everything sounds so romantic and promising. Elisa, I would also like to join my mates who are already thanking you for the invitation and promise that will try to prepare something from Kyrgyz cuisine, though must warn I am a terrible cooker.
I hope we could follow your steps in getting A+ in our master theses. Congratulations!
Waiting for all the magic stories in the forest to happen, Ulan
Thank you guys to invite us! I am exciting to see this mill!!!!!!
Leyla...

Thank you very much, Elisa, for invitation!

Dear Comrades, I think Elisa is really expecting us to don´t free ride and bring some food and drinks to her party. I know it can be a nuisance to cook, but if you don´t feel like it, I suggest to buy something prepared in the supermarket. I think it would be kinda rude if we just showed our faces (sure, very pretty faces) but empty handed. Let´s put our name up high!
See you tomorrow.

Elisa,
Is it possible to invite others, such as some of the Ph.D students or is it a closed party to only MILE 7?
Dear All,
I have just uploaded all the pictures I got from Valeria, who in turn collected them from the cameras of three different persons. I believe, credits go to Leila, Georgia and Valeria herself. However, these are not all the pictures which were taken on the Christmas party night at Elisa's magic place, and I hope that everyone has extra pictures either will upload to the website by him or herself or will let me have them copied and uploaded. Please.
You can view all the uploaded pictures in:
Flash Mode: http://milestudents.com/fgallery/110
Normal Mode: http://milestudents.com/image_galleries/beautiful_switzerland/christmas_...
Please, pay special attention that some too funny pictures I had to make available only for MILE7 students. So the best way to view every singe picture is to first log into the website and then browse the album.
Elisa, once again thank you very much for hosting us all for that beautiful night!
The party was great -maybe too great! Thank you so much to all the organizers.
M.
