Dear All,

I have uploaded another video file from Christmas party at Elisa's place. Despite its low quality, it worth to watch it, just to remember that wonderful night: http://milestudents.com/node/1301

Video 1 from Christmas party: Aya's talking

I have very slow connection at the moment. So I tried to upload the shortest and smallest of the video-files. I hope I'll able to upload some more video, most important of which is about Kamal's dance. Await!

Let's play Kris Kringle

Dear all - students and staff

Also this year we would like to organize a kris kringle. Some of you might know this game already, some might call it differently and for the others I will explain:

Everyone who would like to participate will enroll with me. Then on the last day of November (Thursday 30 November) all the names will be put in a hat and during the morning break we will meet at the cafeteria and the participants will all draw a name out of the hat. The name on the paper slip will then be your kris kringle. This means that you will treat this person during the month of December every day with a little something. Get her/him a chocolat, a candy, another nice little gift, send an anonymous card etc. there are no limits to your ideas. It doesn’t have to be expensive – it’s the gesture that counts. Of course your kris kringle shouldn’t find out who is her/his kris kringle…

Christmas party in a 300-year old mill in the forest

Dear sMILEies

Some of you might know that I am living in a 300-year old mill in the forest (see picture in the attachment). Corinne and me would like to invite you there before Christmas to celebrate the end of the first term. The party will take place on Friday, 15 December 2006 from around 7 o'clock onwards (there will be no exam on that friday but just normal classes until 4 o'clock). It would be nice if you all bring some special food and drinks from your home country.

Thomas Cottier will come as well and offered to bring some Swiss wine :-) Thank you very much for that!!
