Dear friends, I was able to shoot a short video of the final accord of the firework in Locarno. It was an amazing event of a 30 min show.

Hi MILE 7 comrades! Congratulations with the successful graduation! I hear it's been an unique event and would be a long lasting one too. I missed all of you, but knew you will enjoy it as only MILE 7 can. Did not feel quite well and did not show up. I feel sad.

However, I also do not believe in "closing" ceremonies. There is no closure of the MILE 7 brotherhood either. No matter where in the world we are, I will have you all in my heart and will be giving toasts for your success in life.

Almost everyone has been asking me how to get a copy of the video presented by Manolo today in the Institute. I am going to prepare a CD copy for every one of you by the noon time of Monday, 9th of July. Please make sure to get your copy from Margrit's office before you leave from Bern.

And the following video was the first draft of the presentation that I had tried to prepare. It does not contain some features, like for example Lisa's song, which had been included in the final version, that you will get on CD.

Sochi which is a city in the Southern Federal District of Russia the central city of which is Rostov-on-Don was Elected as Host City of XXII Olympic Winter Games 2014. The announcement has just been made by IOC President Jacques Rogge in Guatemala City, where the IOC members are meeting. Sochi was elected in the second round of voting with 51 votes against 47 votes for PyeongChang.

I will also organize a social event which will take place on June 28th - so please reserve this date as well! Thanks to Stanislav, who took excellent video shoots on the WTO Dispute Settlement Simulation Day, we have almost everyone's talking for the future memories. Some videos are great evidence of what we were doing on that day, definitely one of the most interesting day's during the whole MILE program. Other videos are just of fun, taken by Stanislav during the breaks. In any case, it is very nice that we have all these records here, just to be able to come and see any time in the future, to remember our MILE7 days.
