Comments, issues and complaints

Okey, my comrades in arms, here is the deal. In order to make things easier for you and so I have a clear idea on what is an spontaneous conversation and what is an actual request for action, Aya and I decided to put a box labelled CR in the class room (next to the water cooler) where you can place your comments, complaints or whatever. Every two weeks we will look at it and discuss with you and if agreed take the matter to the necessary authorities. Thanks for the cooperation.

2 weeks:) Isn't that a bit toooooo long? I think if we have an issue - the CRs are "obliged" to bring this matter in interest of the person/s who raise/s it. I think there is also nothing wrong with us inviting Nicole last time. As long as the majority is interested in something that should be the main voice.

Ok then we'll check it everyday and if there is something of major importance, we will discuss it right away.

This shouldn't be a problem and should not become an issue. We are all in the same boat and we all want to sail to the same place.

And of course, there's nothing wrong with inviting Nicole to our reunions; However she told Manolo that she doesn't want to be disturbed everytime and that she prefers if only one person would bring up to her the concerns of the whole class. And that's precisely why we decided to put a box in class.

So hopefully, with this box of comments, all our voices will be heard via one person, so that all the concerns would be taken into account in a more organized and efficient way.

Hope you all agree with this initiative. If you don't, just put a comment in the box! Ha ha just kidding:)

Great idea guys! I just hope for you (the CR's) and Nicole (!) that everyone finds him/herself capable of understanding and abiding by these rules of procedure now and appreciates your efforts.

But anyway: Good luck Eye-wink

Good idea, I think, however, it will happen anyway that some people will approach Nicole or others and this is normal. I suggest that the box serves in more "anonymous" or "non-urgent" issues. Direct contact should me made on important issues as soon as considered suitable.

I would also suggest that if the CRs see an upcoming problem in the future they could initiate the discussion as well, something like a "social responsibility for the class". We indeed elected the CRs for the common good, but this in no way limits our rights and does not systemise them, but instead widers them. Everyone is free to do whatever he wants. This is my opinion. This happened this time, next time if we have something in our heads we will definately consider contacting you guys first.

All da bezt in this hard task.

Ok, Mark. I am not passing a judgement on anyone's action, neither last time, before that or in the future. I will say this one more time: EVERYONE CAN TALK AND SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT TO WHOMEVER THEY WANT. We are just trying to get some rules so that things get a little bit more organized. If two weeks is "tooooo long" and the matter requires immediate action, let Aya or me know that same day. We are in class 5 hours a day together, so I am there if you need me. If am absent for a special reason, you can just wait for 15 minutes or go to Aya. I really dont think these kind of "live or die matters" should arise that often. You mention the "majority", I agree that that should be the main voice, as you say, but when the main voice is 36 different opinions, we dont get a voice, we only achieve an incomprehensible noice; that is what I am trying to avoid in order to produce a coherent and unanimous message that reflects everybody's interests. I ask you to make an effort to comply with these fair and efficient procedures for everybody's sake. Of course, any procedure is up for revision if needed.

Hi, yeah that's what I meant. As you said and I agree "those live or die matters" should not arise often. I think this was a special case and I am surprised that it took us so much time to respond. I am just speaking of simple fairness in this case. I think we were all able to make ourselves very clear as the question was of a unique nature. Keep cool! M

You are welcome, guys. Thank you for appreciation. But I disagree with Mano's expression "Ulan's website". It is of all of us, ours, and even not only MILE 7, but I hope some day all other sMILEies will feel comfortable here and consider this website as their's too.
