Welcome to MileStudents.com!
Dear MILE Students,
As you all know on Orientation Program day, October 8th, 2006 we took a group picture. Assuming everyone would wish to get a copy of that picture, I wanted to send it to everyone via email. But after I had seen all the pictures I took during that wonderful day, I believed that everyone wouldn't mind to have them all. However, it would be not easy for me to deliver a bunch of photograph pictures of high resolution to everyone's e-mail boxes. So I decided to upload all the pictures to some place in Internet, where all who wanted would just be able to view or download pictures.
Apparently, I would not be allowed to upload them on the official website of the World Trade Institute (http://wti.org), since it is not designed for that kind of purposes. That is why I finally came to decision to create a separate non-formal website for MILE students, so that we all could use it for anything that would go beyond of the functions of the official website. For instance, we could make use of it by lightning many different events like sharing experiences and opinions on shopping in the streets of Bern, about trips on holidays to other cities and parts of Switzerland, blogging literally on anything, uploading pictures, etc. I also thought that such a website would be a very good mean of keeping in touch with each other even after we all will finish our school and return to own home countries. Then students of MILE of the following years could use it, thus creating a link even between groups of MILE students through years.
I am not sure how successfully it will go (if it won't be then I will keep it just for myself), nevertheless I have created MILEstudents.com of very simple design and I would like to welcome you on its pages.
Yours,
Ulan Melisbek

Hi Guys,
I just got this webaddress from Ulan and I think this a very good idea to create such an account.
Nowon we should use this site as often as possible and upload our photos and news.

Nice job with the website, Ulan. thanks for sharing. FYI for the students doing the monitoring thing: is hell!
Se you tomorrow.
Thank you for positive comments, guys. Manolo, I guessed the monitoring was not that pleasant. But I think that is just fare duty for us, who got scholarship from MILE, so we'll have to get used to it.
The website looks cool! Great work, guys!
